Light cars are things like bike engined Catherhams, Westfields, Radicals, Light Car Company, etc that come in well under 900kgs, and many under 700.
The cars you have mentioned are extremely light, to me, 1000Kg for the '67 still qualifies as light, and 850 for the Griff is also light. The '91 griff was only 980 KG
