I think its over
Hey all, 
just got a call from my new smashie, theres a chassis knock further up that will require the cutting out of pretty much the whole engine bay to straighten properly... thus raising the quote $6500...
i think its over. i can pay this but its not worth it. If i sell the car within a year i stand lose a LOT of money with this car. i was willing to accept the $4500 previous quote as it wasnt horrifically bad but this is just it...
I have three options as far i can see:
1. Pay the big money, get it fixed, lose big $$$
2. Take it somewhere else, AGAIN, and see if i can get a cheaper quote
3. Wreck it, strip it and sell off the parts, i make back a lot of $$$ this way but it will take 6 months+ to get rid of the majority of the car.
I have enough to go and buy a little run around pulsar instead of fixing the car so i wont be stuck without transport at least...
what do you guys reckon? What would you do in my place?
