Volvo V30 is coming
Not so long ago Volvo's chief vice-president Magnus Jonsson gave an interview to Automotive News magazine. He mentioned that Volvo aims to launch a 5-door version of its golf-class C30. He also said that at design the car will be less interesting, but more functional that its 3-door brother. Technical data is kept in secret yet, but it is already known that 5-door C30 will use a modified S40 platform (just like the basic C30). Engine, transmissions etc the car will receive from a 3-door C30. Most probably it will be named V30.
Magnus Jonsson said nothing about terms of launch.
