Cruise control gets stuck

Hi guys, when I bought my Suzuki it had allready a sort of cruise control installed. I used it a few times, but it got stuck once. It scared the F!!K out of me, but using violence on the box I was able to shut it down just in time ! I checked out all of the wires and stuff and reconnected one. I then thought I had solved it because nothing else seemed wrong. Two weeks after this I used it again on a drive to Belgium. At a speed of around 130 it got stuck again ! I was on the left lane with a slower car coming to the left lane. I braked, but it only slowed it down minimally, when letting the brake go again it accelarated again. All ended well, because my friend that was in the car with me pulled out all the wires quickly and kicked the thing a few times. Since then I haven't used it again, but I'd like to again. I was hoping some of you had idea's of what to check etcetera. The system installed is a so called "Eagle" cruise control manufactured by the Dutch company of Dynad. It consist of a sensor on the throttle pedal and a connection on the brake light sensor. Furthermore there are various wires on it, no clue what they do. Any ideas or clues on what to check next ???
