Custom pedal box query
Im in the process of building a circuit car KE25 Corolla, I need to move the master cylinder location 50mm over to clear the trumpets and airbox(not fitted). The car in the picture is my brothers car with the engine installed, his car runs a inboard master cylinder with remote resivoir as pictured so he doesnt have my problem. Im running the same car with the same engine configuration and dont wont the master cylinder under the dash, as if it needs to be replaced it dash and instruments out, I want to run mine in the engine bay where its easy to get to for maintanence. Im looking at a aftermarket willwood floor mounted pedal box, I want to know if it can be turned around and mounted to the firewall on one side with the mastercylinder on the other with bracing on the top for added strength. I cant floor mount which would be easier, as the rules only allow the pedal to operate the same way as per factory, which is firewall mounted. Heres what Im thinking of doing is it feasible Thanks in advance willwood pedal box pic 1 original mounting style eg floor pic 2 engine bay pic 3 turned round and mounted to firewall with MC on the other side
