Tracks?
Much used in the military but few real civilian vehicles are equipped with them and none that would be regularly road-bound. I was wondering, with rubber tracks, a light vehicle and a good design, would it be an interesting alternative or a total impossibility? While traction is fantastic, what speeds would be safely possible? Is there any legislation against it? Steering would probably be accomplished by differential braking, I suppose, although there are some bendy tracks these days, which could take on the role of steering when driving faster.
